Planning Lead

Job Description :

Vedanta safety standards implementation.
Exposure in planning of process industry.
Ensure the availability of the equipment as per the production plan / Business plan.
Skill & Knowledge of Standards / SOPs / KIPs.

Job Role :

Execution of maintenance activities (PMI, Inspection, Breakdowns and Scheduled maintenance).
To Manage overall “O&M Planning jobs” of the entire Site of Copper Silvassa Plant & supporting site manager and ACP plant Head for smooth O&M of the site. Keeping special focus on outsourced plants to manage the production KPIs (QCDIP) as per the given Business Plan.
Should support and plant teams to achieve higher OEE of all the critical plant equipment of Furnace, Cell House, PMB Refineries, Melting and Casting equipment.
Working and suggesting for technical improvement to enhance production capacity.
Manpower planning & Optimization to achieve the goal of production KPIs (QCDIP) as per the given Business Plan.
Working and raising requirements of the process consumables and follow up with Store & Purchase sections for timely procurement.
Planning and coordination for resources for annual/half yearly/quarterly shut down and arranging required materials, consumables etc.
Using planning tools for efficient execution of the activities with optimum resources and timelines as agreed or decided by the client.
Should make entries on SAP and Data Management System as per the requirement.
Should support Asset Optimization and should be capable of implementing improvement initiatives.
Should prepare and share production reports daily/weekly and monthly MIS with detailed reasons for less production if any. Should be able to connect, coordinate and share on time MIS with Monomark HO.
Should be able to manage the activities as per the given budgets and should work for Cost Consciousness.
Raising of monthly running bills as per the client format and getting sign off from all the stakeholders and following it up with the client for the payment.
Support the team in implementation of HSE practices to achieve zero harm goal.

Competency / Requirements Technical :

Cross functional team management experience.
Exposure to problems solving techniques.
Analyzing skills of variances, deviations and causes & effects.
Graduation in mechanical engineering with around 10 – 15 years of similar industry experience.
